Hey Good Lookin’
Now this is a good looking wall. Am I right? Or am I right?
This is a picture of the walls of the hospital from a different angle, away from the entrance area. It still needs more layers of brick to reach the entrance area’s height, but look at how smooth this section of wall is. It’s quite pleasing how smoothed out this wall looks compared to it's earlier stages. The wall is definitely not as patchy as before because the workers have buffed out the rough edges of the wall. They have also sealed it with more cement to make it more secure and, as a result of the cement drying, the coloring of the wall has become more even.
I think it’s looking so much more beautiful and professional — it’s some of the best wall work we have seen on our Edo State site till date.
We are so blessed to be able to have such a great construction crew in Nigeria who have been helping us build this wall. We are also blessed to not only have such a great team in Nigeria that was able to find the construction crew for us but also a great team in the U.S. who have been able to get the funds necessary to help us pay for all the construction in Nigeria.
That being said, this may be the last of the updates for a little while because we have run out of funds currently. We are still very happy and blessed that we were able to at least make a demarcation, some formidable walls, and an entrance to the facility.
In order to continue further and make these cement-brick walls into a full-fledged hospital building, we will need your help. We are doing all that we can at the organization to give from our own pockets but we’re just starting and we still have a small staff, so we can’t do it all alone.
So, please, help us in this endeavor — anything that you can spare is appreciated. If you would like to help us, please donate here.
As always, thank you so much for reading and keeping up with our updates we hope that we will soon be able to continue building. Until then we will (hopefully) see you in the next update.
God Bless!
